Sonia graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2018. After completing her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Sonia was employed as a Judge’s Associate in the District Court of South Australia. Sonia has worked in private practice in Adelaide, practising predominantly in Family Law. Sonia has been exposed to a diverse range of matters and has participated in numerous Conciliation Conferences, mediations and other court events in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Sonia is dedicated, outcome focused, and has high attention to detail. With her empathic nature, Sonia aims to build safe, supported, and respectful rapport with her clients. Sonia takes a pragmatic approach to resolving legal disputes and is skilled in working closely with her clients to ensure they are able to achieve their desired outcomes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Before joining the legal profession, Sonia worked in State Politics for nine years. In her spare time, Sonia enjoys spending time with her family, horse riding, and hiking in the Adelaide Hills. Sonia is a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
